SID Activities

 

The SID exists to ensure that Downtown Lancaster is attractive, clean, and safe. To accomplish this goal, the SID performs the following work Downtown:

  • Flower planting and mulching

  • Sidewalk cleaning

  • Litter Patrol and Trash Removal

  • Banners and Holiday Decor

  • Cleanup after Signature Special Events

  • Snow Removal and Salt Application on sidewalks

  • Economic Development Activities such as building public/private partnerships

  • Developing relationships with entrepreneurs, local government, and business owners

  • Business recruitment & retention, and technical assistance/advice.
